Ammonia
In medicine, 10% ammonia solution, often called the spirit of hartshorn, is used to treat fainting (to stimulate breathing) and induce vomiting. It is also used externally for the treatment of neuralgia, myositis and insect bites, and surgical disinfection of hands. Available in the form of 10% solution for external use in 40 ml or 100 ml bottles.
